Administrators in Wesclin Community Unit School District 3 earn an average of $115,866 per year, ranking 170th out of 864 districts in the state, according to a South Central Reporter analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card.

The 2018 average is 8.9% higher than in 2014 and 11.6% higher than in 2009. District administrators make 8% more than the state average of $107,279.

Administrator salaries depend on the district's size, location and resources, as well as the individual's level of experience and education, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

The Clinton County school district enrolled 1373 students in 2017-18. There is an average of 250 students for every administrator, compared to a statewide ratio of 181 to 1.
