The Johnson County Republicans will host a benefit for Rep. Patrick Windhorst (R-Metropolis) from 6-9 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8 at Morello's Restaurant in Harrisburg.
The event is a spaghetti dinner fundraiser, according to a post on the organization’s Facebook page.
Tickets are $25 per person or $200 for a table of eight. Sponsorships are available for $250, $500 and $1,000.
Windhorst, who represents the 118th District in the Illinois House of Representatives, won the seat by defeating predecessor Natalie Phelps Finnie in the 2018 general election by a margin of 15.2 percentage points.
An attorney by profession with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois and a Juris Doctor degree from Southern Illinois University, he served as the state’s attorney for Massac County.
