Report: Selmaville School District spent $8,033 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Selmaville Community Consolidated School District 10 was down 1.3 percent from five years ago, according to the South Central Reporter analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Marion County school district spent $8,140 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $8,033 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 246 to 267 students over the same period.

Selmaville's spending in 2019-20 was 44.6 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
