Report: Willow Grove School District spent $8,737 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Willow Grove School District 46 was up 5.4 percent from five years ago, according to the South Central Reporter analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Clinton County school district spent $8,293 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $8,737 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 166 to 171 students over the same period.

Willow Grove's spending in 2019-20 was 39.7 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
