The majority of students in Clinton County district's were white in the 2021-22 school year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education.

Of the 5,088 students attending Clinton County district schools, 90.7% were white. Hispanic students were the second largest ethnicity, making up 4.5% of Clinton County's districts students.

In the previous school year, white students were the most common group in Clinton County districts, representing 91% of the student body.

Wesclin Community Unit School District 3 had the most diverse student body in the Clinton County, including Asian, African American, Hispanic, Multi-racial, and white.
