The HSHS St. Francis Hospital Auxiliary has released a special edition cookbook to mark the hospital’s 150th anniversary. The cookbook, titled “Recipes and Remembrances,” includes more than 300 recipes contributed by Auxiliary members, hospital staff, retirees, board members, Hospital Sisters, and leaders from the HSHS System.
Copies of the cookbook are available for purchase at the hospital Gift Shop for $25 each. The Gift Shop operates Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and accepts cash or check payments.
Auxiliary President Gwen Barcum expressed gratitude to those involved in the project. “On behalf of the Auxiliary, I want to extend a special thanks to Dawn Stoecker, former colleague, who coordinated the cookbook project. Many of the recipes reflect the love of family and tradition through cookery. It is our hope that those who purchase the cookbook experience the joy of fellowship with family and friends,” said Barcum.
