Salem Township Hospital will host a Lunch & Learn event on November 12, 2025, to inform the community about its Swing Bed and Outpatient Nursing Clinic services. The session is scheduled for noon at the First Christian Church located at 1200 W. Boone St., Salem, Illinois.

The presentation "Recovery Closer to Home: Swing Bed Services at STH" will be led by Lezlee Bernard, RN, and Sandra Smith MSN, RN, Director of Inpatient Services/Outpatient Clinic. Sandra Smith will also present "Care Beyond Compare, Right Where You Are: STH Outpatient Nursing Clinic."

Attendees are encouraged to RSVP by November 5, 2025, to Shelley Rose, BSN, RN at (618) 740-1683 or srose101@sthcares.org to ensure a meal. Lunch, coffee, and dessert will be provided during the event.

Shelley Rose stated that Salem Township Hospital’s Outpatient Care Coordinators—herself along with Holly Williams, RN; Ashley Donoho, RN; and Gloria Hawkins, RN—organize these free Lunch & Learn discussions each month as an educational service for the public.
