With National Distracted Driving Awareness Month starting today, the Illinois Department of Transportation, the Illinois State Police and more than 100 city and county law enforcement agencies are reminding drivers to put down their phones and focus on driving.
In recognition of February being National Canned Food Month, HSHS Home Care and Hospice Southern Illinois recently teamed up with several local organizations to “Cram the Car” with non-perishable food items for the Matthew 25 Ecumenical Food Pantry out of Carlyle Illinois.
